Indian Coast Guard organised a Beach Cleanup Drive at RamaKrishna Beach, Visakhapatnam, as part of International Coastal Cleanup Day. According to Media Sources, About 450 volunteers from the Coast Guard, CISF, NCC cadets, Gangavaram Port, HPCL, Indian Oil Corporation and school students participated in the event and collected 150 Kg of waste from the beach.
Today, Official ‘X’ (Formerly Twitter) Account of Indian Coast Guard tweeted, “As part of International Coastal Cleanup Day-2023, Indian Coast Guard District Hq Andhra Pradesh at Vishakhapatnam organized a beach cleanup drive at RK Beach, Visakhapatnam along with other Govt./ Non-Govt organizations.”
