Today, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Singh Thakur inaugurated the VFX and Tech Pavilion as part of the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. According to Media Sources, Established for the first time in Film Bazaar history by NFDC at IFFI, the VFX and Tech Pavilion will showcase some of the most dynamic, immersive and cutting edge advances in film-making technology in the field of animation, visual effects, virtual reality and CGI.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur inaugurated and inspected various sections of the Pavilion including Cine Museum, Viewing Zones of Amazon Prime and Netflix, among others. As per Media Sources, He took a demonstration of full frame Cinema Line Cameras of Sony and interacted with the young film makers, selected under 75 Creative Minds of Tomorrow initiative. He also interacted with the selected authors in the Book to Box section of the Tech Pavilion.
According to Media Sources, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said that embracing new technological interventions, India is becoming a hub of post-production industry. VFX and Tech Pavilion will further augment the post-production industry in India.
