Gujarat: Today, Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying Parshottam Rupala inaugurates Global Fisheries Conference India 2023 on the occasion of World Fisheries Day held at Gujarat Science City, Ahmedabad. According to Media Sources, Minister of States for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying Dr. Sanjeev K. Balyan, and Dr. L Murugan, Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Rajnikant Patel, Ministers of various states, Ambassador of various countries, other dignitaries and heads of various organisations and fisheries research institutes were present in the event.
As per media sources, Union Minister Parshottam Rupala said that it aims to foster collaborations, engage stakeholders, and promote the Indian Fisheries sector on a global scale. He also said that this initiative is geared towards charting a prosperous and sustainable future for the fisheries industry.
