Fourth Apex Council Meeting of MHA-DRDO held today at DRDO HQ. The meeting was chaired by Ajay Kumar Bhalla, IAS, Union Home Secretary and Co-chaired by Dr Samir V Kamat, Secretary DDR&D and Chairman DRDO.
Technologies and Products required by CAPFs for maintaing effective Internal Security and Products for Disaster Management by NDRF were discussed. The meeting was attended by members from CAPFs, NDRF, IB, NSCS, MHA and DRDO.
A compendium on “DFRL’s Specialized Food Basket for Low Intensity Conflict (LIC) Operations” was also released during the meeting.
