Today, Ministry of Finance’s Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav Iconic Week will come to an end. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will be gracing the Closing Ceremony events in Goa. The Finance Minister will dedicate the National Museum of Customs and GST to the nation during the event in Panji. After that, New GST Gallery will be inaugurated. A short film titled ‘Dharohar’ will also be screened on the occasion.
Union Finance Ministry said, in a bid to create awareness and spread tax literacy among people as well as children, the Central Board of Direct Taxes has developed some interesting ‘learn by play’ products. Under this series, Finance Minister Sitharaman will launch a set of Board Games, 3D Puzzles and Comic Books. A short video on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav will also be launched showcasing the importance of taxes in the growth of the country and the reforms undertaken in the area of direct taxes. Union Finance Ministry observed its Iconic Week from 6th to 11th of this month.
