Today, Army Chief General Manoj Pande presented the prestigious ‘President’s Colours’ or ‘Nishan’ to the Third Battalion of the Naga Regiment of Indian Army, during an impressive Colour Presentation Parade at Kumaon Regimental Centre, Ranikhet (Uttarakhand). Army Chief General Manoj Pande appreciated the martial traditions of the Naga community and the Naga Regiment in all spheres of military activities. He complimented the newly raised Battalion for their remarkable performance within a short period of time and conveyed his best wishes to All Ranks & Families.
The Colour Presentation Parade was also witnessed by Lt Gen RP Kalita, GOC-in-C, Eastern Command, Colonel of the Kumaon & Naga Regiment and Kumaon Scouts, Lt Gen General NS Raja Subramani, GOC-in-C, Central Command along with a large number of serving personnel & Veterans.
