According to Media Sources, Army Chief General Manoj Pande visited military establishments and interacted with the senior military leadership of the Republic of Korea. COAS General Manoj Pande was briefed at the Joint Security Area & Demilitarised Zone about the security aspects in the highly sensitive Zone. He also visited the Cyber Command, where he was briefed on effective response to the increasingly advanced and sophisticated cyber threats.
As per Media Sources, COAS General Manoj Pande further interacted with Commander 5 Corps at the Corps Headquarters. According to Media Sources, the visit has been instrumental in fostering mutual understanding, exchanging views on the regional security situation and strengthening bilateral defence cooperation on a host of strategic issues of bilateral importance.
