Assam Rifles along with officials of Nampong Circle, village elders and forest department organised a tree plantation drive on the occasion of culmination of “Azaadi ka amrit mohatsav” on 12 August 2023. The aim and objective of plantation drive was to create awareness about the importance of environment and also to promote afforestation.
