Yesterday, Assam Rifles organised Tree Plantation Drive at Sonitpur and Cachar District in Assam. During the event, different saplings of fruit bearing and non-fruit bearing trees were planted and awareness was spread amongst all ranks to protect the environment and contribute in restoring the ecosystem.
