Bengaluru: Union Minister Anurag Thakur inaugurated 5 Storied hostel building constructed by WAPCOS Ltd. Official Linked-in account of WAPCOS Ltd. posted that “Hon’ble Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Information & Broadcasting “Sh. Anurag Thakur” inaugurated the 300-Bedded Hostel at Netaji Subhas Southern Centre (NSSC), Bangalore on 23.12.2023. WAPCOS has successfully constructed 5 storey hostel building with 108 hostel rooms to accommodate 304 Athletes, 6 Studio Apartments, Kitchen & Dinning, Recreation area, external development works, etc. WAPCOS is developing various Sports Infrastructure Facilities at various locations in India for Sports Authority of India (SAI) under Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, RD & GR, Govt. of India National Projects Construction Corporation-NPCC Limited.”
