According to media sources, BJP National President and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda today met the President of Maldives Dr Mohamed Muizzu in New Delhi as part of the ‘Know BJP’ initiative. During the meeting, both leaders acknowledged the substantial progress in India-Maldives bilateral relations over the last decade. Both sides welcomed the introduction of Rupay Card transactions in Maldives and the release of the Comprehensive Economic and Maritime Security Vision Document. Both leaders also discussed various ways to enhance cooperation in the health sector.
Meanwhile, Mr Nadda also outlined the organizational structure and activities of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Both leaders agreed to enhance party-to-party relations by promoting exchanges between the Bharatiya Janata Party and the People’s National Congress, aiming to deepen partnership and mutual understanding.
