According to the today’s press release of CBI, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended two accused including a Sub-Inspector (SI) and an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Delhi Police, Sarita Vihar Police Station while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 35,000/- from the complainant.
CBI registered a case against accused Sub- Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Delhi Police, Sarita Vihar Police Station on allegations that accused demanded bribe from complainant for quashing FIR pending against him. It was also alleged that accused agreed to accept Rs. 35,000/- as undue advantage in this regard.
CBI laid a trap and caught the both accused SI and ASI red-handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 35,000/- from the complainant.
Investigation is continuing.
