Punjab: According to the media sources, on Drug Menace, IGP Sukhchain Singh Gill said, “In last some time, huge recoveries have been made. At the border, the first line of defence is the BSF. After that, the second line of defence is the Punjab Police. We are focusing on that. We have seen a lot of drone movement. BSF is using anti-drone technology. We have also made two committees for long and short term. From 2022 till now, there have been 514 drone sitings. Recently, 121 drones have been brought down in joint operations of the BSF and the Punjab Police. Punjab Police, along with the BSF is working pro-actively at the border.”
