New Delhi: Indian central public sector undertaking, and largest coal-producing company, Coal India has announced the interim dividend of Rs. 15.00 per equity share. The company said in its BSE filing, “The Board of Directors of the holding company has declared an interim dividend of Rs. 15.00 per equity share, For example, an investor has 100 shares of Coal India in his Demat account on the record date, the company will pay him Rs 1500 dividend.
The interim dividend will be paid by 6th December 2022.
The Holding Company has paid a final dividend of 3.00 per equity share for the financial year 2021-22 on and from 7th September 2022. The Interim dividend declared in the said year was 14 per equity share.
The Maharatna Company, Coal India has high dividend yields.
