Central U.P. Gas Limited (CUGL), a joint venture of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), has been honored with the prestigious ‘Best City Gas Distribution – Established Company of the Year Award’ at the Oil & Gas Awards 2022 by FIPI.
The award was presented to M. V. Iyer (Chairman), R K Das (Managing Director), and Sunil Bains (Director Commercial) of CUGL by Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri, along with State Minister Rameswar Teli and Pankaj Jain, Secretary, MoP&NG.
CUGL’s presence in Kanpur, Bareilly, and Jhansi enables them to supply CNG to about 100,000 vehicles and cater to the energy needs of 185,000 households, 484 commercial establishments, and 126 industrial units through a 3,214 km long pipeline network.
