According to media sources, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar today reiterated that the Electronic Voting Machines are 100 percent foolproof, amid opposition allegations of manipulation in the EVMs.
Mr. Kumar told the media in New Delhi that people have addressed the questions raised about the EVMs by participating in the voting during the elections.
Opposition parties, including Congress, have been raising questions about the EVMs. After the recent debacle in the Haryana assembly polls, several Congress leaders again raised concerns about the EVMs.
