New Delhi: Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman chaired a meeting to improve the efficiency of the Development Action Plan for Scheduled Tribes (DAPST) & Scheduled Tribe Component (STC) fund utilisation in presence of Union Tribal Affairs Minister Shri Arjun Munda & Union MoS for Tribal Affairs Smt. Renuka Singh, in New Delhi, today.
The meeting was also attended by Shri Parameshwar Iyer, CEO, NITIAayog; Finance Secretary Dr T.V. Somanathan, Ministry of Finance; and Secretaries of Department of water and sanitation; Department of Water Resources; M/o Tribal Affairs; M/o Women & Child Development; D/o Telecommunication; M/o food and public distribution; M/o Rural development; M/o Health and Family Welfare; D/o School Education & Literacy; D/o Fertilizers; D/o Higher Education; M/o Environment & Forest & M/o Development of North Eastern Region.
Besides, senior officials from M/o Agriculture & farmers Welfare; M/o Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises; Minister of Labour and Employment; M/o Housing & Urban Affairs; M/o New and Renewable Energy; M/o Environment & Forest; M/o Power; and M/o Skill Development and Entrepreneurship also attended.
