Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur on Wednesday announced that the first edition of the Khelo India Para Games will be held from 10 to 17 December in New Delhi. According to Media Sources, Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur said that with over 1350 participants from across 32 states and UT’s participating in 7 disciplines, it is going to be a game-changer in our quest to improve para-sports in our country and in identifying and aiding talented specially abled athletes.
As per Media Sources, He said that the recent success of our Para-athletes in Hangzhou is a testament to their unwavering determination, and the Government under the leadership of PM Modi is committed to providing the best facilities to our athletes.
Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur is confident that the Khelo India Para Games will be successful and extended his best wishes to the players for the upcoming games.
