News Delhi: According to media sources, FM Nirmala Sitharaman announces special package of 15,000 cr. for Andhra Pradesh to build the capital & 26,000 cr. allotted to Bihar for infrastructure projects. Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, presenting the Union budget on Tuesday, opened up central government coffers for Bihar, announcing a ₹26,000 crore package to support various infrastructure projects of key ally Nitish Kumar of Janata Dal (United). In this Budget for the fiscal year includes special financial support of Rs 15,000 crore for Andhra Pradesh’s capital city and additional funding for highways in Bihar.

In this budget Customs duty on Gold and Silver reduced by 6% & Basic custom Duty reduced on phones to 15%.
