Gujarat: As per media reports On Monday the Gujrat police arrested another accused Rahul Rathore in the Rajkot fire incident case of Gujarat. Also, 7 officers of different departments have been suspended.
As per the reports the suspended officers include Assistant Town Planner Gautam Joshi of Town Planning Department of Rajkot Municipal Corporation, Assistant Engineer Jaideep Chaudhary, Deputy Executive Engineer of Roads and Housing Department MR Suma and Engineer Paras Kothia. Rajkot Police’s Taluka Police Station Incharge Police Inspector VR Patel and License Department Inspector NI Rathod have been suspended. Also, Rajkot Municipal Commissioner has suspended Fire and Emergency Services Station Officer Rohit Vigora.
As per the reports 27 people including four children died and 3 others were burnt in the massive fire that broke out in the ‘Game Zone’ located in Rajkot. It has come to light that the ‘game zone’ where the fire broke out on Saturday was being operated without a fire safety no objection certificate. After the death of 27 people in the ‘Game Zone’ fire, the police have registered an FIR against six partners and one other on charges of culpable homicide and have arrested 3 people so far. CM Bhupendra Patel visited the incident site after the accident.
