According to media sources, Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for development projects of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation worth over 446 crore in Ahmedabad today. Mr. Shah, who is on a visit to his home state, launched several projects in his parliamentary constituency, Gandhinagar, which include the newly built telerehabilitation centre at GMERS hospital in Sola today. Later in the day, Mr. Shah will also address BJP workers at ‘Karyakarta Sammelan’ near Sanand in Ahmedabad.
He is also scheduled to inaugurate the newly-built office building of the Ahmedabad police commissioner in Shahibaug. In the evening, the Minister will kick off the Vibrant Gujarat Navratri festival organised by Gujarat Tourism at the GMDC ground in Ahmedabad. He will also attend three other Navratri events in Ahmedabad.
Tomorrow, Mr. Shah will attend several programs, including the one at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar to mark the 100th anniversary of ADC Bank.
