Prime Minister Narendra Modi has visited the native village of President Ram Nath Kovind, Paraunkh in Kanpur Dehat. Twitter account of President of India (@rashtrapatibhvn) tweeted “In a special gesture, President Ram Nath Kovind received Prime Minister Narendra Modi on arrival in his native village Paraunkh in Kanpur Dehat.”
In reply, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also tweeted “I am humbled by Rashtrapati Ji’s special gesture. It shows his humility, simplicity and greatness. When I expressed gratitude and wanted to know why he did this, he instantly said – you have come to my village, it is a part of our culture to do so!”
