IMD issues cold wave warning for Northern India

According to media sources, India Meteorological Department, IMD has issued a warning for cold wave conditions in northern India beginning today. In its forecast, IMD stated that minimum temperatures are likely to fall by 3 to 5 degree celsius over Northwest India during the next two days due to western disturbance.

Minimum temperatures were below zero degree celsius over many parts of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh, and around 10 to 15 degrees Celsius over Northwest, central and east India in th elast 24 hours. Over West, and Central India, there will be no significant change in minimum temperatures during next 24 hours. Minimum temperatures are likely ro fall by by 3 to 5 degrees during subsequent three days.

Delhi is expected to have mainly clear sky for the next couple of days with dense fog in most places in the morning.
