As per the media reports The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted heatwave conditions across northwest India and Bihar for the next five days, and in eastern and central India from 18th may 2024.
As per the reports the warning adds that there is an increased likelihood of heat-related illnesses among people who are either exposed to the sun for a prolonged period or doing heavy work and high health concerns for vulnerable people
