India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall along the west coast during the next four days. IMD said, fairly widespread rainfall is very likely over Karnataka, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Kerala & Mahe and Lakshadweep during the next five days. It said, Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra and south Interior Karnataka will receive heavy rainfall till tomorrow.
For the next five days, widespread rainfall is also expected over northeast India, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim.
However, there will be subdued rainfall until tomorrow in the country’s northwest and adjoining central regions.
