India’s approach to the Ukraine conflict will continue to be people-centric. This was stated by India’s Deputy Permanent Representative, Ambassador R. Ravindra at the UN Security Council briefing on Ukraine. He said the country is providing both humanitarian assistance to Ukraine and economic support to some of its neighbours in the Global South under economic distress. He added that New Delhi has consistently called for an immediate cessation of hostilities and an end to the violence and called upon both sides to return to the path of dialogue and diplomacy.
