Delhi: According to the media sources, at the 46th Session of the World Heritage Committee in Bharat Mandapam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said “India considers preservation of global heritage as its “responsibility”, hence, apart from Indian heritage, we are also providing support for heritage protection in the countries of Global South.. Today, I am making another important announcement that India will contribute 1 million dollars to the UNESCO World Heritage Centre.”
