Central Minister of Jal Shakti tweeted “Spent some time interacting with the members of the Indian diaspora in Japan at the Ahilya Aoyama restaurant in Tokyo. Pleasantly surprised to find that many of these people, including one of the cooks at the restaurant, are from Rajasthan. As PM Narendra Modi says, members of the Indian diaspora are our ‘permanent ambassadors.’ They’ve made a home in Japan and remained connected to their roots. I thank them for the warm welcome. It was a small gathering, in line with the Covid-19 restrictions in Japan.”
