Israel is set for election on the 1st of November as lawmakers dissolved the parliament today. It will be the 5th election for Israelis in less than 4 years. The Israeli parliament, the Knesset, voted 92-Nil, bringing an end to Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s run as premier– one of the shortest terms in Israeli history. Tomorrow, Foreign Minister Yair Lapid will take over as caretaker prime minister under the terms of a coalition agreement made between the outgoing Prime Minister and Lapid last year.
