New Delhi: Shri K. M. Prashanth, AGM ( HR ), NTECL( a JV between NTPC and TANGEDCO)has been honoured with Promising HR person of the year award . This award was presented by Chairperson, the Advertising Standard Council of India ( ASCI ) , Shri Subhas Kamath during the PRCI Global Communication Conclave concluded in Kolkata. Shri MB Jayaram , Chairman Emeritus & Chief Mentor , PRCI and other prominent dignitaries from Corporates , Media and Media educators were present on the occasion .
Shri Prashanth has been heading the HR wing of the Vallur project of NTECL since Last 2 years. Earlier he was associated with NTPC ‘s Corporate Communication functions and headed the CC division for a long time . Prashanth has helped NTPC successfully foray into Digital Communication through the SAMVAD app, which is a one-stop app for all the internal Communication needs of the company. This is the first such app developed by any Corporate in India specially for internal communications.
In the year 2019, Prashanth was included in Reputation Today’s 100 Most important professional in the field of. PR and Corporate Communication list.
