As per the reports Indian Coast Guard swiftly responded to a distress call from IFB Gurovayoorappan despite challenging conditions. The boat was flooded and sinking 30 Nm off Chavakkad, Kerala. India Coast Guard Ship Abhinav successfully de-flooded the engine compartment and ensured safety of all 13 crew members. Post defect rectification boat entered Munambam fishing harbour safely.
