Chief Managing Director of Gas Authority of India Limited, Sandeep Kumar Gupta visited the construction site of the underground LPG Storage Facility which is being developed by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) at Mangalore.
Today, Official Twitter Account of of Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) tweeted, “Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta, CMD, GAIL, visited the construction site of the underground LPG Storage Facility being developed by HPCL at Mangalore. Shri Gupta opined that the project is of national importance and pride. It’s completion will enhance the availability and distribution of LPG in the region ultimately benefiting the customers. The 80,000 MT Storage Facility, an engineering marvel is based on the principle of ‘hydraulic head of water to contain the LPG inside the rocks’ deep inside our mother earth and is expected to be completed by December 2023.”
