According to the Press release, Assam Rifles Battalion under the aegis of HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised a day with Company Commander at Company Operating Base Nungba, District Noney, Manipur on 13 August 2023.
40 students from various schools of Nungba participated in the event. The students were familarised with the organisational structure and functioning of Assam Rifles. An interactive tour of the Company Operating Base was also organised for the students. A series of games and activities followed by lunch were also organised to foster relationship between Assam Rifles and the budding youth.
The Assam Rifles have displayed its commitment towards the youth of the society and guiding the children towards their future commitments.
