Mizoram: Assam Rifles along with Mizoram Police recovered 1,50,000 Methamphetamine tablets worth Rs 45 crores in general Area Zokawthar of Champhai District on October 16. Today, Official ‘X’ (Formerly Twitter) Account of Assam Rifles tweeted, “Assam Rifles alongwith Mizoram Police recovered 1,50,000 x Methamphetamine tablets (weighing -17.085 Kgs) worth Rs 45 crores in general Area Zokawthar, Champhai District, Mizoram on 16 Oct 2023. Intensified operations by Assam Rifles has led to seizure of 102 crores of drugs in last four days in border areas alone.”
