According to media sources, Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth has emphasised that victory in Operation Sindoor was because of goals set under Atma Nirbhar Bharat, Viksit Bharat and Make in India programmes. Virtually addressing a curtain raiser event of India Manufacturing Show in Bengaluru today, he said indigenisation efforts and the solidarity shown by 140 crore Indians ensured that we give a befitting reply to Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.
He said the three wings of the armed forces are also gaining atmanirbharata due to the Government policies. Speaking on this occasion, the Chairman and Managing Director of the public sector BEL, Manoj Jain, said that quality standards and certification are important while producing defence equipment. He spoke of a mindset that enables the PSUs and the MSMEs to work together in sync with each other.
