Indore: According to the media sources, Indore Electricity Board installs coolers and fans to cool down transformers given the extreme heatwave. North MP Electric Board Junior Engineer Imran Qureshi said, “In North Indore sub-division, there are a total of 37 grids. Wherever we received complaints of overheating, fans and coolers have been installed to maintain the temperature.. The normal temperature of a transformer stays around 65 degrees Celsius, but because of the weather, it went as high as 75-80 degrees celsius.. Earthing pits are being provided with water to maintain moisture..”
