Today, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi appeared before the Enforcement Directorate in Delhi in the National Herald case. He was accompanied by his sister and party leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Rahul Gandhi reached the Enforcement Directorate office after Satyagraha March with hundreds of workers and party leaders. Several top leaders took part in the Congress show of strength. In New Delhi, Congress spokesman Randeep Singh Surjewala was detained along with other workers.
Yesterday, Congress organised a series of press conferences at many state capitals to show solidarity with Rahul Gandhi.
