The goals of sustainable mining can be achieved by emphasizing overburden generation with a qualitative improvement in benching. Continuous monitoring of production, productivity and related preparedness plays an important role in achieving the given targets as per the energy requirement of the country”.
The above statement was given by CMD NCL Mr Bhola Singh on Wednesday while deploying a huge hydraulic shovel PC 2000 of 12 cubic meter capacity in the mine in the Amlori area.
During this, Mr Singh gave mantras to improve the production and operational efficiency of the mine and called upon the young workers to play an important role in taking the company to new heights. He inspected the newly launched Shovel and discussed its technical features and capabilities in detail with the representatives of the manufacturer.
Director (Technical/Operations), NCL Dr Anindya Sinha was also present on the occasion. Along with this, a large number of officers and employees including the General Manager (Amlori) and General Manager (Excavation), the Head of the Department of NCL, a representative of a machine manufacturer company and a representative of the Regional Labor Union were present.
Equipped and equipped with modern technology, the engine of this shovel is 960 HP, and it will be able to lift 12 cubic meters of overburden/coal at a time. The shovel also comes equipped with a 360-degree camera, rear vision camera, fatigue monitoring system and advanced AFDSS system. It is noteworthy that more than 1100 heavy machines are deployed in the machinery fleet of NCL.
