NCL commissioned giant excavator of 20 M3 bucket capacity

New Delhi: Coal India subsidiary, Northern Coalfields Ltd (NCL) commissioned another giant excavator of 20 m3 bucket capacity in Nigahi Area on Friday and dedicated it in the service of Nation.

CMD Shri Bhola Singh dedicated a huge shovel of 20 cubic meter capacity. During this, Mr. Singh went to Shovel and inspected it and discussed in detail with the representatives of the manufacturing company about its technical characteristics and capabilities.

This mammoth machine with new technology will boost the company’s production and productivity with enhanced safety and operator’s comfort.

After the deployment of the machine, CMD Shri Bhola Singh congratulated the Nigahi area and said that these machines would play an important role in fulfilling the commitment of NCL to ensure energy self-reliance of the country. Shri Singh said that world’s best machines are deployed in NCL and this new Shovel will strengthen NCL’s mechanical capability and make it easier to achieve production targets with safety.

On this occasion Dr. Anindya Sinha, Director (Technical/Operations) of NCL, Mr. Rajnish Narayan, Director (Finance), Mr. Melnikov Dmitry Alexievich, Director (Technical) of Shovel manufacturer Russian company I-Z Cortex, General Manager, Nigahi Mr. Harish Duhan, NCL The General Managers of the projects and Headquarters, Heads of Departments and other senior officers of the Nigahi Project, representatives and employees of the trade union and members of the Indian subsidiary company SRB of the producer company were present.
