New Delhi: As per the media reports Director General, Border Security Force Nitin Agrawal attends 21st BSF Investiture Ceremony and delivers Rustamji Memorial Lecture at vigyan bhawan. Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla, Director, Intelligence Bureau Tapan Deka and Director General, Nationl Security Advisor Ajit Doval also attended the event.
While attending the ceremony Director General, Border Security Force Nitin Agrawal said that- “In it’s glorious journey, BSF India has acquired watercrafts, aircrafts, and helicopters, besides a large army of Camels. It has faced varied challenges and, has always come out with a strategy and, response to surmount them. It has harnessed technology, brought in innovation and, training to meet new & evolving challenges. At today’s decoration ceremony ten brave Seema Praharis are being honored with the Police medal for gallantry for their bravery. Out of which seven brave hearts sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.”
