New Delhi: NSA Ajit Doval attends 21st BSF Investiture Ceremony and delivers Rustamji Memorial Lecture at vigyan bhawan in New  Delhi. Union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla , Director, Intelligence Bureau Tapan Deka and Director General, Border Security Force Nitin Agrawal also attended the event.

At the BSF Investiture Ceremony, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval has said that India is changing very fast and in the next 10 years, it will have a 10 trillion dollar economy. Doval said it will be a major achievement for India and it will become the third largest economy in the world. He said, India will also have the world’s largest workforce. The National Security Advisor said, technically India will be the most advanced country in many fields including Semiconductor, Artificial Intelligence, Manufacturing, Defence and Security.

Mr Doval commended the contribution of BSF in securing the country’s borders and it is the world largest border guarding force.

Further National Security Advisor also discussed on how helpful technology proves to be in preventing attacks. Referring to the utility of technology in preventing attacks during wartime, he said that some time ago Iran attacked Israel with its missiles and drones. Iran has fired about 1500 missiles but 99% of these missiles were shot down by Israel in the air. Only 2-3 missiles could hit. This is the power of technology.
