Today, Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (MoPSW) and Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal launched ‘Sagar Samridhi’, the online dredging monitoring system of Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways in New Delhi. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said, “Glad to launch Sagar Samridhi, the online dredging monitoring system of Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways in New Delhi. Developed in collaboration with NTCPWC – IIT Chennai, Sagar Samridhi will provide real-time dredging data monitoring, empowering Ports to make informed decisions & elevating productivity and efficiency.”
Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said, “Led by the Waste to Wealth vision of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji, India’s Ports are poised to unlock the huge potential of transforming dredged material into sources of wealth. Sagar Samridhi will act as the catalyst that turns this vision into reality.”
