Union Minister for Civil Aviation & Steel, Jyotiraditya Scindia twitted “The New Terminal Building being built at Tuticorin Airport (@aaitutairport) is a testament to the ever-expanding infrastructure of the Indian aviation sector. Spread across an area of 13500 sqm and built at a cost of Rs. 380.87 crore, the New Terminal Building will provide a fillip to the region’s connectivity. With a capacity to handle 600 passengers during peak hours, it will bolster trade and commerce in the ‘pearl city’ of Tamil Nadu.”
