According to media sources, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada today inaugurated the new unified headquarters of the Quality Council of India (QCI) at the World Trade Centre in New Delhi . Prime Minister Narendra Modi also hailed the inauguration of the new premises of QCI in a message. He wrote that the QCI plays a key role in promoting and implementing quality standards across vital sectors such as education, healthcare, environment, governance, infrastructure and other areas that have a positive impact on people. He added that the QCI will have a vibrant environment that fosters productivity, innovation and well-being of its employees with its own premises. He also stated that the new premises will also serve as a hub for collaboration and oversight and help in maintaining close coordination among various teams, leading to quicker identification and resolution of issues.
