According to media sources, The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) began its Online Short Term Internship Programme (OSTI) today. The two-week programme aims to provide college and university students with a comprehensive understanding of the promotion and protection of Human Rights in the country.
The Commission noted that 80 students from 21 States have been selected to attend the internship programme. In a statement, NHRC said that the Programme is structured to impart to students from varied academic disciplines the requisite knowledge and competencies to tackle human rights challenges.
