Nicholas Stern, Professor of Economics and Government & Chair of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at LSE, met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He tweeted “I enjoyed a very productive meeting today with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Next year’s G20 in India will be a turning point.”
In reply, PM Modi also tweeted “Happy to have met Nicholas Stern and discuss diverse issues. His passion towards the environment and nuanced understanding of policy related issues is admirable. He is also optimistic about India and believes in the skills of 130 crore Indians.”
