According to media sources, The Northeast Frontier Railway has operated 74 special trains from 1st of April to mid-October this year. During this period, Northeast Frontier Railway conducted a total of 673 trips, catering to above 9.9 lakh passengers. The earnings generated from these special train operations amounted to over 94 crore rupees. Sources in the NF Railway said during this period, a total of 8.83 lakh additional berths were provided to cater to the needs of passengers.
