New Delhi : An MoU is signed between the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) and NRSC, ISRO on 23.08.2022 for implementation of the Aquifer Sustainability Management System (ASMS).
The project ASMS is conceptualized under AMRUT 2.0, the flagship programme of the MoHUA and aims at providing safe and sustainable drinking water to every household through the assessment for sustainability and rejuvenation of aquifer system using geospatial tools and technologies.
Director, NRSC Dr. Prakash Chauhan and Smt. D. Thara, IAS, Additional Secretary, (A,L&E), MoHUA were present on the occasion.
