Today, Coal India Ltd. (CIL) Chairman P. M. Prasad inaugurated the workshop-cum-leadership programme “Manthan 2.0: A journey of building a sustainable competitive edge for Coal India” in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Vinay Ranjan, Director (Personnel & IR), CIL, and O. P. Singh, CMD, MCL were present in the inaugural session of the Workshop.
While addressing the workshop, Chairman, CIL said as long as the country needs coal, Coal India has to mine it with due emphasis on sustainable practices. However, the company must adapt and innovate in order to retain its energy leadership.
IICM and MCL organised a two-day workshop to provide newly appointed CIL subsidiary Directors with a strategic orientation, an outside-in perspective, stakeholder management, and effective teamwork to help them make informed decisions.
