According to media sources, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Ramdas Athawale, stated that the PM-Kisan scheme has been highly beneficial for small and marginal farmers. Speaking as the chief guest at an event in Mumbai held to mark the release of the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi, he noted that the scheme enables farmers to purchase seeds, fertilizers, and other essentials without depending on local moneylenders. He added that the initiative has helped farmers become more self-reliant.
Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav said that the PM Kisan Samman Yojana is not only an economic scheme but it is an honour for the hard work of the food providers of the country. While addressing an event at Buldhana, he appealed to the farmers to take advantage of such schemes and improve their finances.
Union Ministers of State Raksha Khadse and Murlidhar Mohol also participated in similar events celebrating the 20th installment release, held in Jalgaon and Malegaon.
